About Twine

Meet Twine! Twine is a female boxer/australian shepherd mix that was born in early November 2025! Twine and her littermates are a part of our “Carytown” litter and came to B&B from a VA shelter where they were surrendered as part of an accidental litter. Twine is a bundle of joy! She is highly food motivated, smart, easy to please, and very curious! She already know sit, crate, almost stay, and working on lie down. She likes to assess what is around her and is very inquisitive. Twine has loved every person she has met and has done very well with other dogs, especially older ones. She is very loving and wants to be in your lap or near you at all times. She follows her foster everywhere, is super goofy, and just makes every moment better. Twine is currently in her puppy stage and is learning her boundaries. She takes treats gently, but come meal time she is one excited girl! She does phenomenal on her leash and harness, but would also love a yard to romp around in. Potty and crate training are going well, but she will tell you her opinion on the crate at first (dramatic!!) but she is working on being more independent. Twine is being fostered in Richmond, VA. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and her upcoming spay. To apply to adopt Twine, please visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt. Spay/Neuter Disclosure: Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
