When Magnolia first came into rescue, she weighed only 47 pounds — skin and bones, uncertain, and learning what kindness even felt like. Today? She is a healthy, glowing 72 pounds of love. But what's most beautiful about Magnolia isn't the weight she's gained — it's the sweetness she never lost. She is the most gentle, appreciative, loving girl in the world. She gets along with every dog she meets — truly to a fault. There isn't an ounce of meanness in her body. She adores attention and leans into affection like she's been waiting her whole life for it. She is great on a leash, clean in her crate, heartworm negative, spayed, and up to date on all preventions. Magnolia does get nervous around loud noises, which is understandable given her past. She thrives in a calm, loving environment where she feels safe and cherished. She is wonderful around my children, but because she is such a big girl, I would recommend being mindful with smaller children. She would never intentionally hurt anyone — she simply doesn't realize how big and strong she is and sometimes accidentally bumps into people with that big, beautiful body of hers.
