If they weren’t committed to keeping their foster spot open to save the next dog in need, Joe would already be a permanent resident. That’s how special he is. Joe is around 4.5 years old — past the wild puppy chaos, but still playful, joyful, and full of life. He has a steady, easygoing demeanor that makes him such a pleasure to live with. He loves hanging out with the resident Lab and fits right into the rhythm of family life. He’s wonderful with kids and has that gentle, “let me be part of the fun” energy. Full honesty — Joe thinks cats are a little too interesting, so we’ll be placing him in a cat-free home just to keep everyone happy. And he’ll need a secure fence, because if there’s fun happening on the other side, Joe might be tempted to RSVP himself. He’s not trying to run away — he just has a bit of FOMO. As for his looks? Joe is stunning. We aren’t sure of his breed mix — sometimes he gives shepherd vibes, sometimes he’s just uniquely Joe.
