About Moxie
Start your journey together! Apply now. Momma Melody and her adorable newborns have found safety and love in a caring foster home after being rescued from the cold by a dedicated Good Samaritan. Melody is a shepherd mix who has faced hardship on the streets, showing some hair loss from fleas and a thin appearance, but she remains sweet, gentle, and grateful as she adjusts to her foster environment. As Melody regains her health, she's becoming even more beautiful, and her puppies are thriving by her side. Both mom and babies will be ready for adoption in about nine weeks, once they are fully weaned and have received all necessary vet care. Please note, adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis—matching the right family is our main priority. Our rescue welcomes applications at any time (with no fee to apply), and we encourage understanding that it can take time to hear back. Moxie and her siblings will be altered, vaccinated, and vet checked before adoption; this is a strict policy to ensure the wellbeing of every animal. All healthy dogs over eight weeks and two pounds are spayed or neutered before placement. Puppies and dogs who aren't ready for immediate adoption due to pending vetting can be reserved with a deposit, and your support gives animals like Melody and her babies the fresh start they deserve. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
