AvailableZena is a female retriever mix, medium in size, currently staying in Washington, DC. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She would do best in an active home that matches her friendly and playful nature.
About Zena
Zena is a happy, playful retriever mix searching for her forever home. She thrives on outdoor adventures like long sniffy walks and games of tug-of-war, but she’s just as content running around a yard or garden. Zena is food-motivated, loves puzzle toys, and her foster notes she’s both smart and eager to learn. She’s discovered the joys of toys, pulling them all out for a good play session. Zena is crate trained and manages well both overnight and when left alone for a few hours. She gets along with other dogs and has lived with cats before, but would probably do best in a home without them. Kid experience isn’t known, but her foster is open to discussing introductions. What stands out most is Zena’s sweetness—she never tires of affection or belly rubs. Give her a safe, loving environment and she’ll be the most grateful companion you could want. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
