Hazel – Sweet, cautious girl with a heart of gold! -Age: About 2 years old -Weight: ~50 lbs -Very smart – knows sit, stay, and spin -Cautious and a little fearful in new situations, but blossoms once she feels safe -Loving and affectionate – adores cuddles and belly rubs -Has spent time in training: walks well on leash and responds to commands -Gets along well with other dogs -Gorgeous brindle coat that shines in the sun Hazel came to us after living with her previous owner for about a year and a half. He loved her dearly but had to surrender her due to long work hours that kept him away more than 12 hours a day. At first, Hazel was timid and unsure, but she has really started to shine here. The structure of her training environment has been very similar to ours, which makes us confident she will transition smoothly into her forever home. Once Hazel feels comfortable, she is incredibly loving and affectionate. She enjoys cuddles, belly rubs, and being close to her people. She’s smart, attentive, and eager to please, showing off all the commands she has learned in training. What Hazel wants most is to give unconditional love and share her life with a family who will let her blossom. She’s a dog who will start off reserved but quickly become your most loyal companion, rewarding patience with endless devotion.
