Let us introduce our little tripod, Franklin Fuquay, 16 months old at this writing. Franklin weighs 14.5 lb. and really needs a playmate or two. He would not do well as an only dog. He is not good with big dogs which is understandable because he lost his leg at 2 months of age when attacked by a male dog in the breeder's home. In the foster home, he has only had female friends, but everyone has been adopted except the resident female and she's not interested in playing with him. Franklin loves toys and is pining for a girlfriend his size to play with. Franklin is very sweet and loves to cuddle with his dog friends. He does bark when people come in but settles down and lkes to be petted once he gets to know them. He is good in the car. No separation issues. Franklin is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and is on heartworm prevention monthly. He is house-trained and crate-trained and working on leash-training.
