About Tucker Mcdaniel Jonesborough

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Tucker is a small Boston Terrier who has shown resilience through significant losses in his young life. After serving as a loving companion to his first owner, Tucker moved to live with relatives following his original owner's passing. Sadly, another loss brought him to his current rescue, but despite these challenges, he remains an energetic and happy dog. Tucker thrives on play and adventure—he loves to run, chase balls, and chew on toys. Once he's expended his remarkable energy, he's more than ready for cuddle time and back scratches, happily seeking connection with his people. Tucker weighs about 25 lbs and is just under three years old. He’s house trained with a dog door and will benefit from training to let you know when he needs to go outside in homes without one. While he’s been exposed to crating, he could use a refresher. He enjoys car rides and does well on them, though he is still working on his leash manners and can be a bit of a puller. Tucker is very social with people, but he should be the only pet in your household—he is not suited to live with other dogs or cats. Due to his past, Tucker does sometimes experience separation anxiety, so an adopter who can provide companionship and patience will help him feel secure. His birthday makes him a Taurus, which often means dogs like him are loyal, affectionate, and steadfast with their families. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
