About Winter
Meet Winter. Winter is believed that be a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix, clocking in at a mighty nine pounds of pure personality. She is what her foster mom like to call a professional lap companion with strong opinions about television. She watches TV. Not glances at it. Watches it. She will sit in your lap and stare at the screen like shes following the plot. If something exciting happens, she may offer commentary. If something scary happens, she will absolutely decide that we are not doing that and retreat to safety. (This has been tested. Multiple times.) She is wildly affectionate without being chaotic. She plays hard, zooms appropriately, and then transforms into the most perfect little snuggler. At night she curls up in bed and sleeps quietly all the way through, like a tiny warm cinnamon roll who somehow also survived a snowstorm. Winter is one of the Blizzard babies part of a litter of three abandoned outside in the freezing cold. She survived. She thrived. And now shes out here living her best nine-pound Muppet life. Winter gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and with cats. Shes confident without being bossy, playful without being overwhelming, and just genuinely fun to have around. She loves blueberries, loves a good cuddle, and loves being wherever her people are. If you want a quirky little sidekick who will watch movies with you, talk back to the TV when necessary, and snuggle you like its her full-time job Winter might be your girl. Winter is estimated to be about 8 or 9 months old. She has just been spayed and she received her first set of vaccines. She will be able to go to her forever home after her second set of vaccines. The adoption fee for winter is $350. Apply to meet winter at www.Ricopetrecovery.org
