About Grover
Grover turned up as a stray in Garden Grove, but luck turned when a good neighbor brought him to safety. After extensive efforts, no owner could be found, so now Grover is waiting for a real home. He’s a dachshund mix—picture a longer body, shorter legs, and ears that lean more terrier than hound. Grover has a short, chocolaty brown coat that’s low maintenance, along with expressive brown eyes and a curious, playful attitude. Grover thrives on cuddle time and walks, and he’s especially fond of his chew toys. Food is always a top priority for him; picky eating is not in his vocabulary. Currently in foster, he’s been described as both a snuggler and a goofball. Grover is house trained and gets along well with other dogs, so he should fit in with existing canine companions. Born January 5, he’s a Capricorn—so a loyal, hardworking nature comes with the territory. He’s now ready to meet the right match and settle into his forever family. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
