Vader is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up! Meet Vader! Vader is the cutest little pup around and part of our Star Wars litter! Mom & puppies were found next to a shipping crate at a warehouse the day that Momma dog gave birth. A kind samaritan took them in and agreed to foster the whole family. Vader was born on 1/2/26 and is 7 weeks old (as of 2/20/2026) and is a male lab mix. He will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. While Vader is a small pup now, we do estimate he'll grow to be a medium - large sized dog. We have momma dog and she weighs about 65 pounds, but we have no clue about the size / breed of the puppy daddy. This is totally a guess based off of our vet's recommendations. Vader will be adopted out on a neuter contract and neutered between 6 months to 1 year of age. Vader is such a young pup that he is friendly with everyone he meets! (dogs, cats & kids). Vader's foster mom describes him as the smartest of the litter! All of the pups from this litter are very well socialized and love to interact with humans and their puppy littermates. Vader has a beautiful licorice coat with tuxedo white markings. Vader has had lots of exposure to different places, car rides, loud noises, etc. He does really well at the vet and getting his nails trimmed. Momma dog is very well mannered and gentle with a perfect temperament. Vader is full of personality and a total puppy. He loves to run around and play with his doggie foster siblings, but also loves to climb in your lap for snuggles. We think he would love another dog in the home to show him the ropes, but this is not necessary, Vader would love a fully fenced yard or an active family as he (and most puppies) have puppy energy he'll need to burn off. All of our puppies under the age of 1 year old are strongly encouraged to attend some form of puppy obedience classes / training with their new adoptive family. Vader is not quite potty trained at this point and we'll be looking for a patient family who will continue to work with him on potty training. His foster family is doing their best to help him become fully potty trained and we're sure he'll make progress towards being fully potty trained by the time he transports to his new family!
