About Aubreen

Aubreen is smart, affectionate, and has that kind of silly charm that pulls you right in. She’s two years old, with a rich yellow-tan coat and big, mischievous ears you can’t miss. After her time at animal control, she came to the shelter with a real hunger for play and companionship—puzzles, toys, outdoor adventures, and post-adventure couch cuddles are her sweet spot. At first, Aubreen seemed unfamiliar with dogs, almost surprised by them, but she’s warmed up and now thrives in playgroups. She’s learning fast, making new friends (she’s got a “bestie” in Virgil), and gets more comfortable every day just being a dog. Her eager mind and gentle playfulness make her a good match for an active family that enjoys teaching and sharing new experiences. Aubreen’s adoption fee is fully sponsored, and she’s spayed and current on core vaccines. She’s receiving heartworm treatment, and Heartland covers all costs until she’s clear—heartworm isn’t contagious and her prognosis is excellent. Aubreen deserves to be somebody’s adored companion once again. Click apply to start the adoption process.
