Meet Kenzo Are you looking for a perfectly put-together, low-maintenance, genetically blessed dog? Great! Keep scrolling... Kenzo is a 4-year-old bulldog mix and what we lovingly refer to as a "genetic adventure." He was dumped at the shelter with several other dogs when his owner could no longer care for them. On top of that, he came down with a brutal cold and spent nearly two months on medication before finally feeling like himself again. Now he is healthy, stable, and ready for adoption. Let's review the checklist. Loud breather? Absolutely. Built-in white noise machine. Brachycephalic bulldog airway situation? Of course. He has that soft palate breathing, which means he is heat sensitive and not your jogging buddy. Air conditioning is his love language. Awkward little legs? Yes. Mysterious tail scar and missing fur? Also yes. Neck? Debatable. Heart of gold? Absolutely! Kenzo is good with dogs and cats. He is sweet. He wants to be close to his people. Because he was sick for so long and then we had all the ice and chaos, he is just now really beginning his potty-training journey. He has already shown improvement and genuinely wants to be a good boy. He just needs someone patient and committed to continuing his training without getting frustrated over accidents. Kenzo is fostered in Rosedale and is looking for someone who understands that perfection is overrated. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3.
