Hi there! My name is Trixie, and I’m an 8-year-old, medium-sized female Lab mix with a heart full of love. I’m a sweet senior gal who adores my people and is happiest being close to those I love. I do well with other dogs of all sizes, but I have a confident, slightly dominant personality, so I’d do best with submissive canine companions. I also prefer to enjoy my meals, treats, and bones in my own separate space away from other dogs — a lady likes her privacy sometimes! I haven’t lived with kids in my foster home, but I’m a gentle, loving pup and would likely do just fine with respectful children. I also haven’t been around cats in the home, and I do enjoy chasing wildlife, but a cat test can be arranged if needed. I’m fully potty trained and crate trained, though I’m also non-destructive and much prefer being left out to relax and nap while you’re away. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
