Hi! My name is River, and I’m an 8-month-old Lab/Pit mix. I’m a super friendly, affectionate pup who absolutely lives to give hugs and be close to my people. I love people of all ages, including kids, and I also really enjoy playing with my doggie friends. I’m a social boy who thrives on companionship and being part of the action with my family. When it’s time to play, I’m a big fan of stuffed bones and dog toys — especially the stuffed ones I can proudly tear apart (it’s my specialty!). Having lots of appropriate toys will help keep me happy and entertained. I’m already doing great with both potty training and crate training, and I continue to do best with a consistent routine and positive reinforcement as I grow into the amazing adult dog I’m going to be. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
