Caroline is a resilient, golden-coated pit bull terrier mix who’s been through a lot. She came in as a stray after being hit by a car and gave birth on the ride to safety. Caroline needed surgery for both her leg and a significant hernia, but she’s recovered beautifully. She loves people and wins hearts with her openness, befriending adults and children alike. Caroline gets along well with other dogs, but she finds cats far too interesting so a cat-free home is best. She does well with routines, is learning to keep her kennel and house clean, and while she’s not yet fully house trained, she’s eager to improve. Caroline values her food and can be protective during mealtimes. Recently, she’s discovered toys, which she treats as prized companions, often keeping them close in her crate.
