About Slinky | Differently Abled

Slinky rolls into any space—literally—and claims it as his own, scooting around with a confidence that’s impossible to ignore. Seven months old, Slinky is partially paralyzed from what’s believed to be a spinal issue present since birth. This doesn’t slow him down. He drags his back legs but can stand for short bursts, exploring and playing with the same gusto as any kitten. Slinky is outgoing, social, and affectionate to the core. The second he arrives somewhere new, he showers everyone with attention and expects the same in return. He quickly bonds with other animals, making fast friends with both cats and dogs. Due to urinary incontinence, Slinky wears diapers when exploring and needs his bladder expressed twice a day to keep him healthy. He handles these routines with patience and trust, slipping into the rhythm once you do. If you’re comfortable with a little extra care, you’ll find Slinky easygoing and full of joy. He thrives on attention, believes he’s in charge, and never doubts he’s worthy of the love around him. Homes that value heart and personality over physical perfection are where he truly shines. If you want a cat who will greet you like you’re the highlight of his day and bring a special spark to your home, Slinky is waiting for you. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
