About Holmes | Special Needs

Holmes has faced more hardship than most cats see in a lifetime, and now he’s earned his shot at comfort and care. Once a street survivor behind a shop, Holmes pulled through severe injuries on his back legs and a coyote attack that left him with a paralyzed tail and lifelong incontinence—he'll wear diapers from here on out. Despite this, Holmes couldn’t be more resilient. He seems to store up every bit of affection you give him and leans right in, content to soak up love and pets with quiet gratitude. His new normal means someone needs to help him express his bladder a couple times each day and keep him diapered to prevent accidents, but he’s easygoing and adapts well. Holmes is a big, striking gray and white cat who wants nothing more than a warm spot to nap and a reliable human for company. He’s just as happy to share space with other cats as he is to have you all to himself. Vaccinated, neutered, and FIV/FELV negative, Holmes is healthy outside of his special needs. What he offers is something unusually rewarding—a steady devotion and gentle companionship that comes from a cat who finally knows he’s safe. Holmes deserves a soft landing; if you can offer it, he's ready to meet you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
