Miss Karina is a snuggly girl who loves to curl up on your lap for petting! She's very gentle and quiet and will head butt your hand to encourage you to scratch her chin. She's about 2 years old. Karina loves other cats and kittens and walks right up and starts rubbing her head on new kitties when she meets them. She is a little shy and would do best in a quieter home with older kids. She was found living outside in the snow with her 3 young babies in January, where they were trying to stay warm under someone's porch. She's so happy and thankful to be indoors where everyone is safe and warm now! Karina has a defect in her left eye that is causing it to be larger than her normal right eye, with a pupil that doesn't function, and she may be partially blind on that side. The veterinarian thought it was most likely a congenital defect that she was born with, but it's possible she also has glaucoma. No treatment was recommended at this time and her eye has been completely stable. It doesn't bother her at all.
