Don't "Discount" this sweet girl! She may have a half-price/half-size tail, but makes up for it in heart! She's about 3 years old and her nickname is Disco, and she is as fun and happy as the music by the same name. This girl loves pets, loves to talk, and loves to play! She enjoys being held and will follow you around the house. She's an exceptionally lovely cat. She has tolerated the small dogs in her foster home, though she mostly avoids them. Her ideal home would be someone that wants a playful, sweet pal to give all their love and affection to....and likes to have full conversations. She'd love to be spoiled with lots of toys by a special family. Discount is positive for feline leukemia, a virus that reduces her immunity and puts her at a higher risk of illness. Unfortunately, it is likely to reduce her lifespan, though she is otherwise completely healthy right now! She will need regular vet care to help her stay healthy. She needs to be the only cat or live with another FeLV+ cat because the disease can be transmitted to other cats through saliva. Learn more about FeLV at https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-leukemia-virus. Because of her FeLV status, Discount is...discounted...and is a FREE adoption! We just want to see this beautiful and sweet girl get a loving home! Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption-application (say you saw the cat on Petfinder).
