About Misty
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Misty! Misty is an almost six-year-old, medium-sized Blue Heeler with a striking gray-blue coat who truly shines in every way. Her heart is as big as her personality: affectionate, playful, and happiest when close to her people, whether that's cuddling on the couch, offering gentle kisses, or having a blast at playtime. Misty is intelligent and loves to learn—she mastered "sit" on her first day in foster care! Fully housebroken and dog-friendly, Misty may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly with patience and kindness. You'll see her light up when she's told she's a good girl! Like many Heelers, Misty is loyal and thrives with both mental and physical engagement. She would do best with an adopter who will keep her active and provide her with exciting adventures or a "job" to focus on. Misty cherishes every new toy and treat and would be a devoted companion, ready to greet you with enthusiastic wiggles, endless affection, and as many snuggles as you want. Fun fact: Born on February 24, Misty's sun sign is Pisces, a sign known for its sweetness and affection! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. All animals adopted from Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and dewormed. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and supports ongoing rescue efforts. As a foster-based rescue, Louie's Legacy does not have a physical shelter but offers the opportunity to meet animals by appointment or at their weekly events. Volunteers strive to match every pet with their perfect family.
