Meet Waffle! This adorable 3-year-old, 27-pound hound mix is ready to trade her kennel for the comfort of a loving couch. She arrived at the Mountain Shelter on June 4th after being found as a stray with her pal Bacon (who has since found his home!). As a former stray, Waffle is sweet but a little shy when meeting new people. She's a gentle soul who takes a moment to assess the situation, but once she trusts you, her playful, puppy-like energy shines right through! She already walks on a leash and is the perfect size for snuggling. Waffle is doing better at the shelter, but she's truly ready for a quiet, stable forever home where she can thrive.
