Hi, I’m Tater Tot—professional snuggler, toy hoarder, and climbing enthusiast. I’m under a year old and I start out a little on the gentle side, but once I’m comfortable with you, I’m all about being close. I love laying with my people, and when I trust you, I’m perfectly happy to be picked up and held. Cozy time is my specialty. Playtime is very important to me. My absolute favorite is the fishing pole toy—I could chase that thing forever. I also love bell toys and anything that makes fun little sounds. Fair warning: I am a toy hog and I take my job very seriously. Feather toys are exciting too, but I prefer those with supervision (safety first!). I definitely need a playmate to keep life fun and balanced. I’m especially attached to my best buddy Smudge. We sleep tangled together whenever we can, and we’d truly love to find a forever home as a pair. If that’s not possible, I’ll need another young, friendly kitty who’s ready to play hard and snuggle even harder. One of my favorite daily rituals is climbing up the cat tree for my afternoon snooze—very grateful I get to do that indoors, safe and cozy, instead of outside. I know how lucky I am now, especially since I was found behind a McDonald’s and life wasn’t always so comfortable. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
