About Beans
Beans is a sweet and curious Boxer with a bit of goofy charm. He loves rolling around and isn’t shy about flopping upside down on the couch. Beans can have some separation anxiety, but with a steady routine and ongoing crate time, he’s been doing well and hasn’t caused any destruction at home. He’s happy to enter his crate with a treat—he naps quietly until you come back. He’s house and crate trained, already mastering sit, paw, down, and wait. He’s eager to work for food and picks up training quickly. He loves a good walk or hike, but he’s just as happy to snuggle on the couch for a lazy day. Ideal for a home with a yard, Beans has also thrived in an apartment with several walks and outdoor breaks each day. On leash, Beans does well but can pull when excited or when spotting other dogs. He can be redirected with treats but tends to be more reactive around other dogs, especially small ones or those who act aggressively. Because of this, Beans needs to be an only animal in the home. He does well with older children (10+) and is generally friendly meeting people, though some stranger danger means slower, outdoor introductions are best. He’s great in the car, loves hose playtime, and makes a top-tier cuddler—lap included, even at 50+ pounds. You’ll hear his adorable snores during couch naps. Beans has a lot of love and loyalty to give; if you’re looking for a companion who handles both adventure and down time, he’s ready for you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
