About Kate

Meet Kate! Kate was found roaming a neighborhood, heavily pregnant, and was eventually humanely trapped. After spending a couple of nights with her trapper, she moved to Paw Posse Animal Rescue and soon settled into a foster home, where she gave birth the very next day. She’s been a devoted mother, but now it’s her turn to have a family of her own. Kate will need a patient adopter who can give her space and time to adjust to a new environment. She clearly bonds closely to people she trusts—her foster mom and dad have seen her affectionate, loyal side. Kate handles leash walks and car rides without trouble. She’s already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for tick- and heartworm. Kate is about 2 to 3 years old and medium-sized at around 50 pounds. She gets along well with other dogs and is house trained, which should make the transition easier for everyone involved. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
