Evie, also called Snickers, started off with a loving foster family through Saving Paws Rescue AZ. She had a strong start, raised with care from day one and adopted as a tiny pup. For over two years, she lived as a beloved family member, growing into a smart, affectionate, and well-trained companion who genuinely enjoys life’s simple things. Evie especially adores children of all ages and shines as a gentle playmate. Unfortunately, she didn't mesh with the other female dog in her last home—she’s happiest as the only female dog but does well with males. Evie is about 2.5 years old, large, and carries an athletic mix of German Shepherd, Husky, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Pittie. She offers heaps of loyalty, intelligence, and playful energy—walks on leash come naturally, and she knows her basic commands. Housebroken and polite in the home, she isn’t kennel-trained, but she thrives in household living. Evie’s foster and rescue want her to land with a family where she can be the best version of herself—surrounded by kids and a stable canine brother if possible, but no other female dogs.
