She can be a little shy and tentative at first, but once she feels comfortable, she happily accepts pets and attention. Because shes a bit reserved, Bessie may need a little extra time to settle into her new surroundings, but her sweet nature will shine through once she does. <p data-start="505" data-end="656">Bessie would do best in a calm home with adults or older children. She gets along OK with other cats, but would also do well as an only cat.
