Orion is a shorthair orange tabby boy that came into foster care at 3 days of age. He was born to a neighborhood stray (February 25th) who had her kittens in a neighborhood garage, but then moved them and left little Orion behind. Luckily, the home owner saw that Orion was left alone and called for help from a partnering rescue in the Heartland area. Since that rescue didn’t have a foster available, they reached out to Forgotten Friends and we were able to take our first ”kitten season” bottle baby. Orion was in great shape, as his mama cat had clearly taken great care of him, so he was healthy and thrived throughout his around the clock bottle feedings. Orion is a happy, extremely loving little boy, who loves cuddles and kisses. He’s a “mama’s boy” but he also enjoys snuggles from his foster dad. “Bottle Babies” are traditionally very loving since they think a human was their mama, and so they bond tightly with their human parents. Orion loves to be carried around and held like a baby in your arms. He would do well in a relatively calm household, especially if his human was home a lot. Since his siblings (Electra, Carina, Selene and Lyra) were eventually reunited with Orion at about 4 weeks of age, he loves to play with his sisters and also gets along with the other adult fosters and resident cats. Orion would love to be adopted with one of his siblings.
