Shortcake is a1-year-old 23lb Corgi / Australian Cattle dog / Lab / something else mix female. She is playful but also sweet and melts in your hands when you pet her and give her belly rubs. She has the sweetest face and looks so much like a Lab from the front, but she has the calmer personality of whatever else she is mixed with so after a short walk or a game of tug with her sister (Berry), she is ready to collapse and recharge with a nap. You can’t help but smile watching her tiny little legs chase after every stuffed animal in the house, all of which she carries around until she finds the perfect spot to tuck into in her basket. She absolutely LOVES children and other dogs, she is a friend to everyone and will kiss you and hug you all day to show you that if you let her. She is a little more hesitant than her sister at first, but it doesn’t take her more than a day to warm up to everyone and demand pets and love. Though unknown circumstances landed her at a shelter with her sister, she seems to have been well loved so far in life because she is as brave, adventurous, curious, smart and sweet as can be.
