About Bosley

Click apply to start the adoption process. Bosley is an adorable Beagle/Corgi mix who has overcome so much and is eager to find a patient, loving home. After surviving an accident that left him injured and abandoned, Bosley received pelvic surgery and has made a complete recovery—he’s now totally healed and ready for his forever family! At 4 years old, this tricolor boy is undeniably handsome and has a gentle, sweet spirit. Initially, Bosley may be a bit wary of strangers and will likely keep his distance until he feels safe, but he quickly becomes friendly with a little encouragement (treats work wonders with him). He truly enjoys having his own yard and isn’t fond of leash walks, so a secure yard is a must. Bosley’s calm and affectionate personality thrives in a peaceful environment with minimal visitors; he is house trained, crate trained, and does exceptionally well with other dogs. For the happiest match, he needs a canine buddy in the home and prefers households without dogs over 25 lbs, children under 7, or apartment living. Bonus: Bosley does not bark excessively or exhibit any of the challenging behaviors sometimes associated with Beagles! His birthday makes him a Scorpio, so expect loyalty and a deep connection once he trusts you! Local adopters (Dallas Metroplex area only) can enjoy a one-week home trial to make sure it’s the perfect fit. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Bosley

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Beagle/Corgi mixes generally thrive in homes with secure yards where they can explore and play. They do best in calm, stable environments and often appreciate having other dog companions.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

A secure backyard is ideal for a Beagle/Corgi mix, especially since these breeds enjoy sniffing around and being active outdoors. Apartment living is less suitable unless they get plenty of supervised playtime outside.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Beagle/Corgi mixes can do well with children, especially those who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. However, because they can be cautious, homes with older or considerate children are usually a better fit.
