Ladle is a favorite among volunteers at the shelter, winning hearts with his handsome appearance and goofy, friendly personality. He’s always thrilled to meet new people and is polite in his kennel, even when he’s excited for a walk. In play yards, Ladle shows his affectionate side by sticking close and seeking out pets, his tail wagging nonstop. While he doesn’t quite know “sit” yet, he’s eager to please and highly treat-motivated, gently taking treats with the enthusiasm of a hungry hippo! Ladle recently enjoyed a two-night pawjama party, where he got along well with other large dogs in the home. He was also reported to be house trained, an excellent leash walker, and an all-around sweetheart. Ladle shares his kennel comfortably with another shelter pup and is easygoing and social with other dogs in the playgroup.
