About Kate

This young, energetic girl is equal parts playful companion and devoted snuggle buddy. After being found as a stray, Kate quickly won over her finder and continues to charm everyone with her gentle nature, eagerness to please, and adorable personality. Now thriving in her foster home, Kate is housetrained, learning to be comfortable in a crate, and working on tons of fun tricks. She already has "sit" down and is working on “stay,” “place,” “down,” “wait,” and “shake.” She responds eagerly to kind guidance and consistency, soaking up encouragement during training—especially if treats or toys are involved. Kate is incredibly smart and loves to learn new things. Kate lives with another dog and is truly a social butterfly around other pups. She adores following her foster sibling, sharing play, exploration, and naps together. In her previous shelter environment, she made friends easily, both in playgroups and with kennelmates. Kate thrives outdoors—whether that’s splashing in a kiddie pool, strolling on walks, or sniffing around the yard. While she has plenty of energy, she also excels at relaxing, always eager to nap beside her person. She’s a classic velcro dog, checking in often and soaking up affection, her sweet eyes saying: “I love you—please love me back.” As she blossoms in foster care, Kate is gaining confidence, pushing past fears, and showing immense trust when treated kindly. She’ll do best in an active but calm home with a patient adopter who will continue her training journey and celebrate all her milestones. If you have a confident dog at home, Kate would love a sibling to learn from. Whether your day promises adventure or just a cozy night in, Kate is ready to be by your side with her sweet eyes and ever-wagging tail. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
