About Romeo

Romeo is a 4-month-old terrier mix puppy bursting with personality, curiosity, and joy. Found alongside his sister Juliette (also available for adoption), Romeo is the confident, adventurous half of the duo — the one who charges into the world tail-first and figures things out as he goes. Romeo is the wild child in the best way. He’s playful, energetic, and always ready for his next adventure. New environments don’t faze him — he’s curious, brave, and eager to explore everything around him. While his sister hangs back to observe, Romeo is usually already halfway into the fun. That said, Romeo is still very much a puppy. He’s learning manners, boundaries, and routines, and will benefit from consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement. He’s smart, food-motivated, and eager to engage, making him a great candidate for training and enrichment. Romeo would thrive in an active home that’s ready for puppy energy — walks, playtime, toys, and training included. He would do wonderfully with another playful dog sibling, but he could also succeed as an only dog if his humans are ready to meet his exercise and stimulation needs. If you’re looking for a puppy who will keep you laughing, moving, and on your toes — Romeo is your guy. Puppy basics: • High-energy, playful, and curious • Still learning potty training, leash skills, and household routines • Thrives with structure, activity, and positive reinforcement +++++++ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://petsave.formstack.com/forms/petsave_adoption_application +++++++ Romeo is currently in foster care in Texas and will be transported to his approved adoptive family. +++++++ The Truth About Rescue: Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again. Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued. +++++++ Once we receive your application, our team will review it and reach out to set up an interview with one of our volunteers. If you have any questions, please email SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com . Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both pets and families.
