About Teddy
Teddy lives his life under the impression that every couch, chair, or lap is specifically reserved for him. This 6-year-old, 60-pound terrier mix is absolutely convinced he was made for snuggling, and will curl himself around you at every opportunity. He greets everyone with instant warmth, has never met a stranger, and is completely at home wherever he lands. Teddy belongs with someone who doesnāt mind a hefty dog climbing into their lap or sprawling across them mid-movie. Heās house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash with only the occasional tug, and seems most at home when thereās structure and routine. Although he has a silly, friendly attitude with dogs in passing, Teddy really shines as the only pet in the homeāhe wants to be your one and only. This guy makes snack time an art, is obsessed with "water cookies" (ice cubes), and comes running if he hears cheese sticks unwrapped. Heās responsive, a bit sassy, and has no sense of personal spaceāin the very best way. Teddy does carry reminders of his past: an old, healed injury from a gunshot that left shrapnel in his front leg. While it makes his gait a little quirky, it doesnāt stop those zoomies or slow his affection. Heās suited to a home with children aged 10 and up who will enjoy his mix of cuddliness and comic drama. If you want a loyal companion who doubles as a living stuffed animal, Teddy is waiting for you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
