Say hello to your new shadow. Raya was nearly out of time at a crowded shelter before her rescue, but she’s proven herself every bit the princess her name implies. She’s incredibly sweet and keeps life interesting with her obsession for squeaky toys—even if she can barely get them to squeak. Once she hears that sound, she gets so excited that she’ll whimper and tear around the house in pure joy. Raya is completely house trained and will even give a heads-up if she needs to go out off schedule. Her leash skills are solid, especially after a potty break. She’s fantastic with other dogs and takes a submissive approach when meeting more dominant pups. She’s not a match for homes with cats but has done well greeting children. Raya is used to being in a kennel during the workday and can wait for you to come home for play time. She’s social, attentive, and brings fun without chaos or overwhelm. Raya arrived at her foster home healing from recent motherhood and a dog attack, then overcame an infected elbow with no lasting health issues. She’s spayed, heartworm-negative, dewormed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. All she needs is a safe place, some affection, and a yearly vet visit. She’ll give back so much more in return.
