About Burt Reynolds

Burt Reynolds turned up in a remote part of the Flathead Reservation, looking lost and out of place. Locals grew worried about him, especially with the healing scars on his face—maybe a hint that he’d been tossed from a vehicle or had some other rough encounter. For weeks, Burt wandered fields on his own until a Good Samaritan was able to catch him and pass him to a caring foster family. When he arrived, Burt was battling ticks and a tough viral infection, Clostridium difficile, which caused persistent diarrhea but has since been treated successfully. He’ll be neutered soon. Burt is a little shy at first but still friendly, considering all he’s been through. He tends to ignore cats, though lately he’s started to watch them more, so it’s uncertain if he’d be safe with them. He gets along with the female dog in his foster home and genuinely seems to like her. Burt’s age isn’t exact, but he seems somewhere between one and two years old and recently weighed in at 58 pounds. Now he just needs a home where he won’t ever be abandoned again.
