Meet Mia Gutierez Mia is a 5-year-old Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a soft grey coat, a tiny 10-lb body, and a heart that's still learning how to feel safe. She was surrendered with her best friend, Coco Gutierez, and the two are a bonded pair who find comfort and confidence in each other. Mia is very fearful when first meeting new people or experiencing new environments. She may freeze, hide, or take time to observe - she's not sassy or aggressive, just scared. The good news? Once she feels safe (especially with familiar people), her happy, playful curiosity comes out, and she loves showing it off alongside Coco. She'll need help with potty training and will do best with a patient, understanding home that lets her move at her own pace. A consistent routine and gentle, positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping her continue to build confidence. With time, love, and her pal Coco by her side, Mia has all the ingredients to truly blossom. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
