About Jessie

Jessie landed at a busy NYC shelter after her owner's passing, brought in alongside her feline buddy, Bean. She’s endured a real upheaval—new sounds, crates, confusion—but Jessie’s personality keeps shining through. Around people she trusts, she relaxes and forgets the chaos a bit, eager to lean in for some comfort. She’s crate and house trained, rides well in the car, and loves her walks, toys, and especially cuddling up on the sofa. Jessie greets everyone as a friend and, true to Velcro-pup form, sticks right by your side for whatever’s next. She’s active and playful but will gladly snooze with you at the end of the day. A strong prey drive means she needs a fenced yard for safe zoomies and exploring. Jessie does great with other dogs, gets along with cats, and would thrive in a home with older kids (13+). Big energy and bigger affection—Jessie’s looking for someone steady to share it all with. Click apply to start the adoption process.
