About Freddie
Freddie is six years old and clocks in at around 55 pounds—a medium-sized Hound mix with loads of personality. He jumps into every day ready to play, zipping after toys and making friends with anyone who crosses his path. Freddie's a champion when it comes to goofy antics; you'll often catch him bumping into things without a shred of embarrassment. After a good play session, he's quick to claim your couch and is more than happy to double as a lap dog. This guy thrives on routine: chasing, wrestling, and cuddling are all on his daily agenda. Freddie is especially fond of kids (the more, the merrier) and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. He knows his basic commands—sit, stay, and lie down—especially if there are snacks involved. House trained and not reliant on a crate, Freddie keeps up with his humans and prefers to be wherever you are. Freddie comes in hot when meeting new people—high energy, a little loud, and eager to make friends—but with a moment to settle, he's all affection and snuggles. He's muscular and strong, so he'll need adopters who can handle his size and occasional rambunctiousness. Freddie isn’t a fit for homes with cats and does best with older kids who can handle his boisterous ways. A fenced yard is important for his zoomies and explorations. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his next home in Olathe, KS. With Freddie, every day is a little more fun, a little more lively, and a lot more loving. Ready to fall in love?
