About Freddie
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Freddie is an absolute delight, especially when kids are around! This handsome Hound mix, with his warm brown eyes and red-orange coat, truly lights up around children and loves being with people of every age. At about 55 pounds and five years old, Freddie sadly lost his home when his loving owner became ill and could no longer care for him. Now enjoying life in a foster home, he is searching once again for a family to give him the love he deserves. You'll be charmed by Freddie's excellent house manners—he knows "sit" and "stay" and will happily show off his smarts, especially if treats are involved. This turn-key pup sleeps quietly on his dog bed and provides cheerful, loving company during the day. Freddie is friendly with both people and dogs, and his foster believes he'd likely do well with cats too. Most of all, he dreams of a busy household filled with the playful energy of kids, where he can be included in all the fun every day. Freddie comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Since he was born December 30, that makes him a Capricorn—so, he's loyal, dependable, and a great friend for life's adventures! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
