About Annabelle
Annabelle’s adoption fee is fully sponsored. She’s a roughly 1-year-old Hound mix living in Parkville, MO, known for her incredibly soft, short coat that draws constant compliments. Annabelle came to Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter after a bumpy stretch, arriving shy and unsure, but the volunteers’ care has helped her gain confidence. Energetic and friendly, she loves people and tends to get along with most other dogs. Her favorite activities include walks, yard time, and anything involving her stuffed toys. She does well settling in her crate with a favorite chew, but expect her to want to join in whatever you’re up to—she has a classic case of FOMO and thrives on human attention. Annabelle is still working on leash manners and not jumping up, so she’ll do best in an adult home, without small children she could accidentally overwhelm. She is house trained and spayed, and her vaccinations are current. If you’re ready for a playful and devoted companion, Annabelle is eager to find her forever family nearby (must live within a 4-hour drive of Parkville, MO). They are waiting with paws crossed!
