About Toby
Toby is a young Doberman with a gentle soul whoās survived a lot. He lost his first family one by one, eventually spending too much time alone outside in a kennel. Now in safety, heās learning how to be part of a home again and what real affection feels like. Because of his past, Toby can be anxious around food and water, sometimes gulping down a full bowl at onceābut this is manageable with a bit of patience and consistency from his adopters. He finds comfort and fun playing with other friendly dogs, and he still trusts people despite everything. A secure yard with a tall, sturdy wall is necessaryāToby is both athletic and clever, true to his breed, so regular fences wonāt cut it. Heāll thrive with a stay-at-home person in the Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, White Rock, or Los Alamos area and would love a canine buddy who enjoys rough-and-tumble play. Doberman experience is preferred for his future family. Toby is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Heās ready for a quiet home that can give him security and a bit of funāa place to rest easy for good. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
