About Toby
Toby is a five-year-old black-and-rust Doberman looking for a new home. We first met him when he was rescued from a highway in southern New Mexico, lost and searching for his owner. Toby quickly adapted to his first home and has been a loyal companion ever since. Unfortunately, due to changes in his family’s circumstances, Toby is once again in need of a loving environment. His current family describes him as a good dog who has embraced their routine. While Toby enjoys digging, chasing lizards, and occasionally chewing his bed cover, his personality shines through in his affectionate nature and energy when greeting adults. We don't have specific information on how he interacts with children, but his original rescuer noted that he got along well with other dogs. Toby loves to play with his ball, soak up the sun outdoors, and keep close to his humans, leaning in for love rather than curling up in laps. Crate trained and housebroken, this smart boy even rings a doorbell when he needs to go outside. Toby deserves a forever home where he can thrive. If you can provide this loving boy with the stability he needs, please consider adopting him. A $300.00 adoption fee applies. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
