About Lando
Lando pitty mix male 8 months 56lbs Dogs. Kids. Lando came into Chicago Animal Care & Control with his sister, and we dont leave family behind, we saved them both. Sissy was social and checking things out, Lando was invisible and consumed by fear He was so terrified his nose stayed pinned to the corner of the kennel like he was trying to disappear into the wall. When it was time to go, there was no way to get him to walk out, so he had to be wheeled out, a whole lot of sensitive soul who just needed the world to stop being so loud for a second. In a home setting, Lando is social. He wants connection. He wants to be part of the day. He lights up around other dogs, follows the household rhythm, and starts offering little moments of joy. He’s currently being fostered with kids and other dogs and he’s doing beautifully, leaning into the safety and showing off the best parts of himself. He’s still a big softy at his core, but he’s also a walking rainbow, a dog who blooms with companionship and a lively home. He definitely needs other dogs and a family that enjoys a social, sweet boy who just needed the right environment to become his real self. Lando isn’t just good. He’s the kind of dog that changes the energy in a home to what was always meant to be. He's ready for the family that will keep showing him, every day, that he’s safe and forever loved. 1) When can I meet this dog? MCP receives a high volume of inquiries.
