Zeus is a young, medium-sized Black Labrador Retriever mix with a short coat, currently in Montpelier, ID. At just over a year old, he’s not yet house trained and hasn’t been neutered or received his full vaccinations. Zeus is still learning, and he’s on the lookout for a patient adopter who can help him settle into home life.

About Zeus

Zeus is the newest arrival—at just 7 months old, he’s already had a tough start, ending up abandoned before landing safely here. He’s a little shy and reserved right now, learning to trust again after a rough patch. Give him a little time, and he starts to open up, especially when there’s a walk or a meal waiting. Zeus is a medium-sized pup, with a lean build and a short, easy-care coat. He’s got a strong hint of Black Lab in him, plus a healthy dose of whatever makes a dog especially cute. Playful with his shelter mates, he enjoys hanging out around other dogs and is picking up good manners day by day. Zeus isn’t house trained yet, but he’s food-motivated and already knows to come for dinner—smart and eager to please. His vaccinations aren’t up to date yet, and he isn’t neutered, so future adopters should be ready to take care of this. As an Aries (born April 15), Zeus is determined and ready for a new adventure. If you’re looking for a young, friendly pup with lots of love to give, Zeus is waiting in Montpelier, ID. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
