About Duffy
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Duffy is a shiny black boy who has truly transformed since he first arrived at the shelter. Along with his sister and brother, he was abandoned on the roadside when he was only six months old. When he came in, Duffy was hungry, skinny, tired, dirty, and had a wild spirit—his only concern was finding food. Taking on the role of the older brother, he leads his siblings with a strong, regal presence and a single adorable floppy ear. Duffy is very food motivated and has already learned to take treats gently and to be calmer during mealtime. He's a blank canvas when it comes to learning: smart, happy, and grateful for the safety and stability of shelter life. With time and dedication, Duffy is sure to master his manners and commands, becoming an excellent companion. He loves his siblings, is growing more social with other dogs, and enjoys every opportunity to run, play, and take in his surroundings. At around 12 months old, this Lab mix is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Born November 15th, Duffy is a Scorpio—known for loyalty and bravery—making him a wonderful friend in the making. Your new best friend is just one click away.
