Indiana Jones, also known as Jonsey, is a young neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix currently in Petaluma, CA. At roughly 10 months old and about 30 pounds, he’s definitely on the smaller side for his breed. Jonsey is genuinely sweet, dog-social, and has a play style that other dogs appreciate. Unlike some cattle dogs, he’s generally quiet, rarely making more than a soft rumble. He’s nearly housebroken—impressive considering kennel life isn’t exactly ideal for learning routines. Jonsey was rescued alongside his sibling, but the person who found them could only take in one, so Jonsey ended up at a boarding kennel. Jonsey is still figuring out the world indoors and can be a bit hesitant around loud noises or strange places, but he’s started to trust people and enjoys those who take the time to show him kindness.
