Okapi
AvailableOkapi is a young female medium-sized mixed breed dog with a courageous spirit. While she is house trained and up-to-date on vaccinations, she is still looking for a quiet place to recover from her recent injury in Santa Rosa, CA. Currently, she is seeking a foster home to help her heal and thrive. Although not much else is known about her, she is friendly with other dogs and is on the road to recovery.
About Okapi
Okapi is an adorable 3.5-month-old mixed breed dog, a blend of herding breed and Pit Bull, who has shown incredible resilience. Alongside her sister Panda, Okapi battled through severe health challenges in the past, surviving after many from their litter did not. Panda is a gentle soul, but Okapi stands out as a fearless, affectionate puppy who loves belly rubs and giving kisses. Recently, Okapi faced another challenge with a broken growth plate in her rear leg. She will require surgery, and afterward, sheβll need a calm foster environment to heal and grow into the joyful companion she deserves. After everything this little pup has endured, sheβs now looking for a hero willing to provide her with the soft landing she needs. Could you be the one to help Okapi? A loving foster home would make a huge difference in her recovery. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
