Explorer is one of four senior dogs rescued from a puppy mill. He hasn’t known much kindness from people, so he’s fearful and tends to keep his distance. He’s never shown any signs of aggression but is still learning how to trust. Right now, he won’t come over on his own and is not yet potty trained. Recently neutered, Explorer is slowly starting to come around, though progress is measured in baby steps. As the youngest among the group of seniors, he requires a gentle, patient home ready to help him heal and adjust. Due to his background and needs, foster-to-adopt is an option for him.
