Fannie
AvailableFannie is a young, small chihuahua/pug mix with golden, black, and white/cream short fur. She’s spayed and vaccinated, fully house trained, and located in Lincolnwood, IL. Her friendly personality and clever habits shine through, making her a memorable companion.
About Fannie
Fannie was picked up as a stray, but she quickly showed her sweet, clever side. At about two and a half years old, this small chug (chihuahua and pug mix) has the playful energy you’d expect, especially with other mellow, friendly little dogs. Stubborn streak? Sure, especially when the sun is out—Fannie loves lounging outdoors and doesn’t always rush inside when called. She’ll thrive with someone ready to take her through some structured training. Fannie is both house trained and pee pad trained, though like any new arrival, she’ll need some time and patience to settle into a new routine. She’s vocal—her bark is loud and she uses it often, so a yard is a must (no apartments or condos). She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Fannie is looking for a family ready to commit for the long haul; she wants people prepared for years of adventure and companionship. She’ll bring plenty of charm to a home in the Chicago metro area with a fenced yard, and her adoption fee is $600. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Fannie
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Fannie, being a small chihuahua/pug mix, usually does best in a stable home with access to a secure yard, especially since she enjoys sunbathing and being vocal. She’s best suited for someone who appreciates her lively personality and doesn't mind a little noise.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A small, securely fenced yard is ideal for a dog like Fannie, as chihuahua and pug mixes benefit from some room to explore and lounge outdoors. Apartment living isn’t recommended due to her vocal nature.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Fannie’s breed mix is generally gentle and affectionate, making her potentially suitable for families with children who respect dogs. Always supervise interactions with young children.
