Expect a bossy, fearless little character who commands attention from both people and other petsāheās not one to be pushed around, no matter the company. Charlie isnāt shy about what he wants, but his affection comes on his terms. When he wants company, he turns into a snuggly sidekick, yet holds onto a streak of independence that suits him. His history is as remarkable as his personality: after his previous owner couldnāt care for him any longer, Charlie found himself rescued from a heartbreaking situation by a compassionate ER doctor. Having spent three years in a loving foster home, heās lived easily among dogs of all sizes, cats, children, and adults, holding his own as the household manager. Stuff like supervising the yard, inspecting every inch of space, and keeping the other animals in line are classic Charlie moves. Despite a bit of feisty senior stubbornness, he really is an easy roommate: comes when called, sleeps soundly, crate and house trained, and doesnāt make trouble.
